| Miriam and Elizabeth Black, are the “Hands” behind Sweet & Savory. The sisters originally from Troy began their culinary career by attending Culinard, Culinary Arts School in Birmingham, Alabama. After completing school they gained notable work experience, even achieving the position of sous chef at the first organic restaurant in Birmingham. Upon their return to Troy they decided to try their own thing by opening a specialty catering business. Their goal is to help people. Home cooking takes time, time many people just don’t have, and many of the options out there are less than wholesome. The girls make meals for individuals, families, parties, etc. They provide hors d’oeuvres for parties, without all the expense of a full service caterer. They make the food, and they make it just for you, with your specifications. |
